
Odis Weaver became our senior pastor in September of 2004. Both he and his wife, Joann, grew up in Joliet, Illinois and graduated from Joliet East High School in 1974. He received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. Odis and Joann have two daughters. Jennifer is a middle school teacher in Elizabeth Town, Kentucky where she teaches math and social studies. Michelle graduated from Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, Kentucky. She now works as a family therapist in Louisville. Pastor Odis enjoys jogging with Joann, college basketball, and reading books on leadership. Odis and Joann both enjoy entertaining guests and developing new friendships.

Rick Mullan has served on staff since December of 1998. Rick gives leadership to the educational ministries at FBC. He has a passion to help people “connect” with God and others. He also serves as Friendship’s worship leader and had developed an outstanding Worship band that leads the FBC family to worship God in a contemporary and creative ways. Who is Rick? He grew up in Iowa and has degrees from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas. Rick enjoys archery and whitetail deer hunting (with bow). Musically, Rick enjoys playing guitar, both acoustic and electric. Influential guitarists that Rick listens to: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lincoln Brewster and Joe Bonamassa. Influential worship artists: Paul Baloche, Matt Redman, Jennie Lee Riddle, Ashley Cleveland. Married 29 years to Lanette. Two children: Kyrstin and Jonathan.

Doug Anderson joined the Friendship staff in February 2007 as Associate Pastor - Student Ministries. He graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Computer Science. God has given Doug a passion for youth ministry and called him to end a 20-year career in Information Technology to serve in full-time ministry. He has a Master's degree in Youth Ministry from Northern Seminary. Doug and his wife, Kelly, have been married for 10 years.
