The result of loving God and loving people is that we make a difference – we light our world! At Friendship there are many ways you can get involved and make a difference in the lives of others. Below, are just a few:

Make a difference! (Local, State, National, and International)
You can make a difference in people’s lives in Plainfield and throughout the world! Locally, we support and serve several local organizations: Feed My Starving Children, Plainfield Food Pantry, Morning Star Mission, Living Alternatives, Angel Tree, and more. You can participate in state and national mission opportunities. We even send teams around the world to places like Senegal and Bulgaria. Or, you can even impact the world without leaving Plainfield through Operation Christmas Child.

Every summer, Vacation Bible School is a fantastic way to connect with the children and families of the surrounding community.

Iron sharpening iron is at the heart of our men’s ministry. Relationships that inspire men to grow are built through small group studies, fun events, and in serving others. You can make a difference in the life of someone else even as the same happens to you!

The purpose of Chosen Arrow Ministry is to build relationships with fellow outdoorsmen in the Joliet/Plainfield area. They offer "How To" workshops, 3D, Fun, and Family Bow Shoots, a fantastic Wild Game Dinner, education in hunting and safety, and fishing events. You can introduce hunters to Christ as you honor God's creation.

You can get involved in Friendship Singers (choir), vocal or instrumental ensembles, solos, drama, dramatic readings, and the praise band. Or if worship is your passion and you have been gifted with skills in technology, perhaps you can serve on the audio-visual team.
